Short answer
Article 23 requires an air transport document to name the carrier and be signed by the carrier or its agent; show that goods were accepted for carriage; show the airports of departure and destination stated in the credit; and be the original for consignor or shipper. The issue date is the shipment date unless a specific notation of the actual flight date appears. Flight number and date in other boxes are not treated as the shipment date (Art. 23(a)(iii)).
