Who we are

LCCheck is operated by ICPLeads, Inc. ("we"). Contact: hello@lccheck.com.

What we collect

Account: your email address for sign-in, your organisation name, your role and the people you invite.

Your work: Letters of Credit and documents you upload, the details read from them and confirmed by you, check results, comments, assignments and an activity history of who shared, viewed or changed what.

Billing: your payment provider handles card details. We keep only the records needed to show your plan and remaining checks.

Free snapshot without an account

If you upload a Letter of Credit without signing in, we read it to show a snapshot. It is deleted after 7 days unless you sign up and claim it.

A private browser cookie links the snapshot to you, so nobody else can claim it. To limit abuse we store visitor network addresses only in scrambled (hashed) form.

Free tools

Our free tools run in your browser. What you type or paste is not sent to us unless you ask us to email you the result.

We count anonymous usage, such as which tool was opened, whether values were entered and whether a result was produced. We never store the values themselves, and we identify repeat visits only with a random scrambled code, not your network address.

If you ask us to email you a result, we store your email, any name and company you give, the tool used, and the names of trade parties shown in that result (for example applicant, beneficiary and banks). We use this to send the result and to follow up about LCCheck. Product news is sent only if you tick the separate box.

Tool leads are deleted after 24 months. You can ask us to delete them sooner, or unsubscribe, at hello@lccheck.com. We do not sell this data. Party names come from what you entered; only enter information you are allowed to share.

Financing interest

If you ask to hear about early payment or financing, we store the details you enter together with your consent and its date. We do not share or sell them without your separate, explicit consent.

How documents are used

Documents are used only to provide your checks, corrections and reports. They are stored privately. We do not use your files to train AI models, and any future research use would need your separate consent.

Document content is kept out of analytics, error logs and emails. Emails contain links to the app, never your files.

Who can see what

Members of your organisation can see its cases. A restricted case is visible only to owners, admins and the colleagues added to it.

People outside your organisation see only the specific issues or documents you choose to share with them, and only while access is active. You can withdraw access at any time. Files a guest uploads to your case belong to your organisation.

Naming a trading partner or bank on a case never gives them access. Only an invitation does.

LCCheck staff have no default access to your documents. Support sees counts and account metadata only. Any access to content needs your time-limited approval and is logged.

Service providers

We use our own accounts with Supabase (database, sign-in and private storage), OpenAI (reading documents), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). They process data on our behalf, and data may be processed in the United States.

Cookies

Necessary cookies and browser storage run sign-in, your selected organisation and the free snapshot; they are always on.

With your consent we use Google Tag Manager to load analytics (Google Analytics) and, only if you allow marketing, advertising measurement from Google. Until you choose, all analytics and advertising signals are denied. Analytics never receive your documents, file names, Letter of Credit details or extracted terms; pages inside the workspace are reported only as generic page names.

You can accept, reject or customise these choices at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months.

Retention and deletion

Source documents are kept for 12 months after a case is closed; reports, confirmed details and activity history for 36 months. You can delete earlier.

Inactive draft files are archived after 12 months; you may need to upload them again.

When you close your account you can export your data first. Deletion follows after a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel.

Security

Files are stored privately and access rules are enforced in the database. Uploaded files are checked for unsafe content before they are read, and files are never opened or run on our servers.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data from Settings, or by writing to hello@lccheck.com. We reply within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell signed-in users before the change takes effect.
